Galtee Harriers

The thought was to go and see the harriers meet up and do a number of drawings from life of the horses , build up a series of sketches that I can refer to later when painting...But today of course from the get go nothing was going according to plan , by the time I got there I only had the camera and a sleepy head on me along with my poor brother David who I talked into coming along , it will be great I told him , out in the country air horses all around and great photo's to be had .
While the horses part was true , what made me think we could easily jump a gate into a field and go get some great shots I still do not know and I might add that was the last we saw of the Galtee Harriers today . My camera decided to no longer work once we climbed up a steep stony ground to find a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape and once we finally gave up and headed back to the car we spot a fox cool as you like strolling by and not a care in the world about him and not a single picture of it for all the effort. In short., be prepared . Here are a few of the shots that were managed before Bad met Worse....
